The music industry is booming with new bands, artists and it appears a new sound has evolved over the years… a perfect example of this is the band Passion Pit. Their music is a mix of electronic, punk and alternative, while also incorporating beats from other well-known artists. Chicago, IL just held one of the world’s biggest music festivals, Lollapalooza and Passion Pit was one of the up and coming bands that entertained the audience with their spooky sounding lyrics and beats. One of their most popular songs is “Sleepyhead” along with “The Reeling”. The band is a group of 5 guys who came out with their debut album called, “Chunk of Change.” The songs in this album were written about teenagers and how they are interested in more important things in life such as death, love for another and such. “Manners” is their newest album with songs about a young man wanting to unleash sounds of animals with a upbeat background rhythm.
