October is the time to boost awareness to breast cancer and help fight back against this terrible disease. We here at Howl at the Moon, will begin our national “Drink Pink” campaign to help raise money for breast cancer research.

Starting two years ago, we started selling a 24-ounce tropical
cocktail called Pink Paradise in Chicago the entire month of October. With each Paradise sold, Howl at the Moon donated a portion of the proceeds to the Lynn Sage Foundation, a local charity that raises funds for Northwestern University’s Breast Cancer Research Center.

With the success of the campaign in Chicago, we decided last year to increase the exposure of this campaign to reach all 11 of our locations and we have added it to our national drink menu! In the first twelve months of the new menu deployment, over $15,000 has been raised nationally! We hope to break a single month record for Pink Paradises sold this October and we need your help.

The Pink Paradise ranges from $10-$17 depending on the market, and are available all year long.

Watch out Lady Gaga our entertainer wants a duel and she plays with The Shake Weight in hand. We certainly wouldn’t take her on and that’s why we hired her. She’s our fearless and passionate performer who has known from the very beginning that she shared a special bond with the black and white keys. At Howl we pride ourselves on hiring fun, interesting people. Basically, we hire the kinds of people you would want to hangout with. If you’d like to work at the World’s Greatest Rock N’ Roll Dueling Piano then click here. Every week we will showcase a different employee. This week meet Joi, our entertainer in Houston, who knows how to shake, rattle and rock n’ roll..

We’re proud to announce a new member to our Howl family (drum roll please)…Minneapolis, Twin Cities in the Warehouse District. Our due date is this December and we can’t wait to celebrate! We’ve got 15 siblings nationwide. There’s our party animal- Hollywood, our incredibly energetic Orlando, the soulful Chicago, the yee hawin’ San Antonio and our one- year old Boston who has impressed us all with its instant popularity.  We’re also overseas. Howl at the Moon is performing aboard Norwegian Cruise Lines newest ship, Epic. We’re quite the eclectic bunch, but the one thing we all have in common is an unforgettable, high-energy show.

Since 1990, Howl at the Moon has prided itself on ensuring an unforgettable evening! Our unique concept, the dueling piano show, gets the crowd up out of their chairs and singing along with the players. Our entertainers play to the crowd’s requests and they play all night long. We play everything from Billy Joel to Kiss to Chris Brown- you name it and we’re playing it.

And what mixes better with live entertainment, singing and dancing than our nationally recognized drink menu. It’s full of classic drinks with a twist, like for instance the Twisted Shirley, or our Strong Island Iced Tea. If you’re really thirsty you can venture to taste our 86oz Buckets. For the shot takers out there- you haven’t tried anything until you’ve tasted our oversized Jell-O injectors served by our always friendly and often costumed servers.

We will officially welcome Howl to the Moon Minneapolis to the family on December 9th with an array of private and public events that will be centered around our dueling piano show. Fans are encouraged to visit Howl at the Moon Minneapolis’s Facebook page to get free admission passes to our celebrations.  Please no gifts; we don’t want Minneapolis to turn out to be our spoiled one. Unless of course your gift is your attendance and then we’ll take as many gifts as we can get!

Howl at the Moon wants to help the Houston community “Show Your Heart,” this Thursday, Sept. 1st. Please Join us for our Berry Fundraiser from 7pm to 10pm at Howl at the Moon in Houston.

About Show Your Heart Organization

The Berry Family

In one night the Berry family’s lives were tragically changed forever. On July 3rd, while on an annual family road trip, the family suffered a fatal car accident that resulted in the death of both parents. Miraculously the three children survived the accident. But not without both boys suffering serious spinal cord injuries, which left them both parallelized from the waist down. Show Your Hearts is an organization that is collecting donation for the now orphaned Berry children. The money collected will go towards their medical rehabilitation, physical therapy, psychological support and education. Click here for more information on you can show your heart.

Howl’s Berry Moon Fundraiser

The night will include a $5 cover charge where 100% of the proceeds will go to the Berry family.  Guests will receive a complimentary buffet provided by A Taste of Mexico catering and ½ priced drinks during the event.  We will also feature a Berry Bucket for $20 where half of the proceeds will benefit the family.  In addition, we will be holding raffles throughout the night where 100% of those proceeds will go to the family. Come out and help Howl at the Moon show how big Houston’s Heart is.

When: Thursday, Sept. 1 – 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Where: Howl at the Moon -  612 Hadley St.  Houston, TX

Bachelorette parties are always fun except for that rare but uncomfortably sobering moment when an inappropriate song is played. We’ve complied a list of the top eleven worst songs to hear on your special night. Songs we vow never to play at a bachelorette party (at least not in this in order.)

1. Shaggy “It Wasn’t Me”

Come on, no one needs to be reminded of this nightmare situation- especially right before you say, “I do.”

2. LeeAnn RImes “Amazing Grace”

Grace isn’t really in the cards for tonight. You were planning on saving it for the alter, anyways.

3. Village People “YMCA”

If you’re marrying one of the village boys, it probably won’t last.

4. Papa Roach “Last Resort”

I hope it’s not! Save the panic attacks for the wedding day

5. Hall and Oates “Rich Girl”

You’re marrying for love and that’s big of you, even if your house isn’t.

6. Kanye West “Heartless”

Not really the mood of the celebration

7. Beyoncé “Single Ladies”

Thankfully, it doesn’t apply : )

8. Gin Blossoms “Hey Jealousy”

Hey Jealousy, your invitation wasn’t lost in the mail- you just weren’t invited.

9.Tim McGraw “My Little Girl”

You don’t need to cry tonight.

10. Kanye West “The New Workout Plan”

If your fiancé wants it to workout between you two, he’ll never play that song.

11. Katy Perry “I Kissed a Girl”

Tonight is crazy enough, you don’t need any more ideas.
