St Patrick’s Day is coming up and here at the Howl at the Moon we can’t stop thinking green! March is the month that we get our green on and party down with our favorite Irish drinks, green drinks, and St Patrick’s Day cocktail. Whether you like your St Patrick’s Day drinks green or jam packed with whiskey, we’ve got a St. Paddy’s Day drink recipe for you!
Layer the ingredients in the following order: Creme de Menthe, Irish Cream, Brandy. Shoot!
Place all ingredients in a large bowl and knead together with two large spoons, or use a stand mixer and knead with your bread hook attachment. Top with whipped cream and serve.
Squeeze half a lime into a cocktail shaker and muddle together with mint leaves using the end of a wooden spoon. Add Bacardi, sugar, and ice. Shake. Strain into martini glass and top off with a splash of club soda and a drizzle of Creme de Menthe. To top off this green drink, garnish with a lime wedge.
Mix 2 drops of food coloring with chocolate syrup. Swirl in martini glass. Combine Bushmills, Bailey’s, and syrups in a shaker and shake. Strain into glass.
Combine the vodka, champagne, and liquor in a rocks glas with ice. Stir and garnish with a stir stick topped with a marshmallow clover.
You are exactly right if you’re wondering if this sugary-sweet, whiskey infused beverage is inspired by the annual McDonald’s classic – it is! Except with a lot more whiskey and a little less mint, but that doesn’t mean it’s any better or worse, just a different take on an old, delicious classic.
Because nothing beats this St. Paddy’s Day classic, except maybe turning it into a jello shot.
