Labor Day…a symbolic reminder of the end of summer, wearing white (for those rule-followers), and warm weather as we brace ourselves for the long string of “ber” months. It’s also a time to embrace the saying “work hard and play hard” as the government grants us a federal holiday to acknowledge all of its hard-working citizens like yourselves. Unlike work, you do have the choice of where you to “play“, and we can only hope it’s with Howl at the Moon this Labor Day!
In addition to providing spectacular dueling pianos and other live entertainment sets, on Sunday, September 2nd Howl at the Moon will transform itself into a Hawaiian Luau complete with buckets of Mai Tai’s and a limbo contest with $500 in cash and prizes up for grabs! Talk about hard-play. 🙂 If you are really looking to get the party started early this labor day weekend, enter to win one of our happy hour parties for Friday, August 31st where there will be another chance at straight cash: we are giving away $100 to a lucky happy hour winner! Not all of us work the typical 9 to 5 day job but because this song has always struck my fancy, I dedicate Dolly Parton’s “9 – 5” to the readers of this blog post and all of the hard-working individuals in America. See ya under the limbo on Sunday, September 2nd. 🙂
