Happy Friday! Today we’re featuring Shelby Winfrey (@curlzofoz) playing at @howlkc! She is from Lawrence, Kansas and has been playing with us in Kansas City for 3 years now 🎉 ⠀ When asked what inspired her to become a musician, Shelby says, “I have always wanted to become a musician ever since I was a little girl. I inspired myself and pushed myself to be what I dreamed of being, and here I am.” 🎶 ⠀ Her favorite song requests? “Any @aliciakeys. Currently I’m obsessed with @lizzobeeating .” Her least favorite? She says, “Ughhh I am so over ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me.’” 😂 ⠀ You can catch Shelby on the Howl Kansas City stage playing a variety of of instruments: piano, guitar, bass, drums and even the violin! ☺️ ⠀ What’s her favorite part about playing at Howl? “Being 100% me and showing people what I love to do, working with an amazing band, and just having a job where something as simple and beautiful as the music we create making so many people happy 🥰” ⠀ Thanks, Shelby!
