Sam Parker, Denver Sales and Events Manager
Grew up in a small town in Northern Colorado called Berthoud (think 3 stoplights and people that drive riding lawnmowers to school). One of the few Colorado natives left in the state, and super proud of it. Went to school at Colorado State University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Technical Communications (Go Rammies). Started as a server at Howl and worked my way into being a Sales and Events Manager. Been involved in the event industry my entire life (my family ran non-profits), but started my professional career in sales and event management 2 years ago. Really grateful for Howl at the Moon’s awesome sales team of strong women who believe in the idea in treating people as human beings versus a business transaction is the way to succeed in this industry! Yay women!
Q. What is your favorite animal?
A. Giraffe. I’m always the tallest girl in the room and I can relate to how gangly and awkward they are.
Q. Name three musicians you would want at your dinner party?
A. John Lennon, Halsey and Travis Barker (hello my teenage, Blink-182 obsessed heart).
Q. What’s your favorite thing to do in your city?
A. When I’m not working, I’m at concerts. Country, Funk, Rap, Bluegrass, etc. Denver’s local music scene is on point! Red Rocks is just as gorgeous as people hear about. Petting puppies. Hiking mountains. Oh and brewery hopping my way through Denver’s microbrew scene.
