Oh. My. Awesome. This is the coolest freaking ship I’ve ever seen. The Norwegian Breakaway cruise liner (the largest cruise ship ever to port in NYC, nbd) departed on its maiden voyage yesterday, May 13th. This thing is stacked! Some of the most notable features include:

five multi-story water slides

an open-air boardwalk, The Waterfront

a ropes course stretching across the entire ship

and best of all, a Howl at the Moon! Talk about onboard entertainment!

For over 2 years, Howl at the Moon has been sailing the high seas on the Norwegian Epic Norwegian Epic. We couldn’t be more excited to send our baby grand pianos sailing on the Breakaway. The Norwegian Breakaway Howl at the Moon, the dueling piano bar that rocks the seven seas, is showcased at Headliners Comedy Club, joined by the renowned comedic acts of The Second City. Other entertainers joining Howl on the Breakaway include the 5-time Tony Award nominated Broadway musical Rock of Ages, ballroom dancing act Burn the FloorCirque Dreams and Dinner Jungle Fantasy, and Fat Cats Jazz and Blues Club. We all know how much fun Howl at the Moon is here on land, but imagine Howling on this baby…

The Breakaway now offers weekly cruises starting from New York City then heading to Bermuda, the Bahamas and Florida, and the Southern Caribbean. The ship houses 4,000 guests and you can be one of them!
