Valentine’s Day is just a week away and you still have time to try out new drink recipes for you and that special someone!  Or, if you’re in the spirit of “Love Sux” like Howl is, you might simply be making them for you and your friends before painting the town red.  As you know, Howl at the Moon is home to specialty cocktails so we put together some of our favorites for you to try!  Let us know which are your favorites!



1. Cherry Kiss

1 part UV Cherry

2 parts champagne

1.5 oz Prairie Organic Vodka

.5 oz Peach Schnapps

3 oz Blood Orange juice

*Combine with ice in shaker, pour into a pink sugar rimmed martini glass and garnish with a blood orange and cherry.  (If blood oranges are not available, you can soak regular oranges in grenadine for the garnish). Source –


3. Chocolate Covered Cherry Martini














1.5 oz dark chocolate liqueur

1 oz cherry vodka

1 oz half and half

1/2 cup ice

chocolate syrup

maraschino cherry

* In a cocktail shaker combine chocolate liqueur, cherry vodka, half and half, ice, and shake vigorously. Then squeeze chocolate syrup into the bottom of a chilled martini glass. Pour martini over the top. Garnish with a maraschino cherry. Source –

4. The Chocolate-Lovers Margarita







3 parts chocolate milk (store bought or homemade)
1 part Sauza Silver Tequila
1 part strawberry puree or daiquiri mix
Chocolate covered strawberry

*Combine chilled chocolate milk, Sauza and strawberry puree in a tall glass. Stir vigorously to combine. Pour into a glass and garnish with a chocolate covered strawberry. Source –




5. Black Crush

1 1/2 oz Absolut Raspberri
1 oz sour mix
1/2 oz simple syrup
6 mint leaves
3 blackberries
Club Soda

*Muddle blackberries, mint, and simple syrup in a shaker. Add ice, vodka, and sour mix. Strain into a glass. Add a splash of club soda. Source –
