Big Game Cocktails No Matter Who You’re Cheering For

January 26, 2015

Super Bowl XLIX is this Sunday and if you’re throwing a Super Bowl watch party, you know that sometimes all that tailgate food and beer is just too much. There’s nothing like a cold cocktail with those loaded nachos!  Lucky for you, we’ve pulled together some game appropriate cocktails to use this year whether your team made it to the big game or not.

5 Super Bowl Cocktails to Cheer on Your Team

Seahawks Cocktail
A little bit of green apple soda and a little bit of blue curacao make the perfect cocktail to cheer on the Seattle Seahawks! Grab the recipe (and how to alter it if you’re a Broncos fan) on Cooking with Curls.

Super Bowl Sipper

Patriot’s fans, this one is for you! Vodka, grenadine, blue curcacao, and a couple other ingredients will get you this delicious two-toned cocktail. Get this cocktail recipe over at We Are Not Martha.

Gridiron Punch

Who needs single serving cocktails when you can just make a punch for the whole team? This Gridiron Punch is sure to keep the crowd happy, whether your team is winning or loosing.  Get the punch recipe here.

Tequila Touchdown

If your favorite team is the Bears, Bengals, Browns, Broncos, or any other team with orange in their logo, you can go ahead and sip on this while watching the game. It’ll sooth those “didn’t make it to the Super Bowl” pains and help fuel those “maybe next year” hopes. Get the Tequila Touchdown recipe right here.

Football Punch

Easy, straight to the point, and delicious, this Football Punch will be a welcome addition to your bar selection at this year’s Super Bowl party. Get the recipe here and make sure to plan on making in a few times, we imagine this one is going to go fast.

BONUS! Fireball Jello Shots

Because you have to do something when your team scores a touchdown, right? These jello shots are super easy to make and offer a little kick, which definitely seems appropriate! Get the shot recipe on Ultimate Tailgate Connection.

Now you have everything you need to create your perfect Super Bowl drink menu and keep your guests cheering (or booing) the screen. Make sure to pick up plenty of ice! Once you’re done playing bartender, make sure to come by your local Howl at the Moon and let us play bartender for you! We don’t have punches, but we do have buckets!
