Book a Party

Summer concert season is finally upon us and some of the year’s biggest tours are finally upon us. With tickets for these tours needing to be purchased months in advance and the anticipation growing ever since, we’re super excited to bring you the best shows happening in the most howlin’ cities across the country. Howl’s Top Shows for this week are all can’t-misses!

The Newcomer

Khalid has been unforgettable since taking home best new artist at the 2017 VMAs and collaborated on Logic’s anthemic “1-800-273-8255” with Alessia Cara. And it’s impossible to ignore the immediate success of his debut album, American Teen, which went platinum within seven months of its release. With a slew of guest appearances crooning with artists like Kendrick Lamar and Normani comfortably in his pocket, Khalid is on the verge of wrapping up his first US tour and will be performing on Friday, May 18th at Houston’s Smart Financial Centre, on Wednesday, May 23rd at the Charlotte Metro Credit Unit Amphitheatre, and at the Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia on Friday, May 25th. Did anyone mention this kid is only 20?

The Reputation

Taylor Swift made a big musical shift on her sixth album, Reputation, exploring electro-pop avenues more than ever before, but not even a risky stylistic change seems to be able to deter pop’s biggest star, with Forbes reporting in March that the album had surpassed 2 million copies sold since being released in November. The singer’s riding that success into a 50-date, six-country stadium tour featuring the likes of Camila Cabello and Charli XCX. Taylor Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour kicked off at the University of Phoenix last week, breaking the attendance record previously set by One Direction, and has grossed well over $200 million in ticket sales to date. Those lucky to enough to find themselves with a ticket (after making it through the intense, anti-scalping purchasing process) can catch T-Swift at the Rose Bowl for back-to-back performances on Friday, May 18th and Saturday, May 20th.

The Experience

Classics become legends when after more than 40 years as a band, you can still sell out two nights at Chicago’s biggest stadium. After touring throughout 2017 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their most successful album, The Joshua Tree, U2 released their newest album in December, Songs of Experience, and hopped right back on the road. The album is a compliment to 2014’s Songs of Innocence, which famously drew massive backlash after being automatically uploaded to iTunes accounts without notice. Despite the outcry, U2 remains a huge touring presence and has embarked on the “eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE” World Tour, spanning through November 10th and wrapping up in their hometown of Dublin. Along with introducing fans to new songs, you’re sure to hear The Edge’s jangly guitar, Bono’s vibrant lyricism, and plenty of the band’s biggest hits at the United Center on Tuesday, May 22nd and Wednesday, May 23rd
