Annie on the Big Stage

Indie-Pop queen St. Vincent (AKA Annie Clark) created tidal waves when her fifth album, Masseducation, dropped earlier this year. Powered by the strength of singles like “New York” and “Los Ageless”, the album received a “universally acclaimed” 88% rating from Metacritic with stellar reviews from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and SPIN. Clark’s “Fear the Future Tour” is her first headlining faire since 2015, and if audiences have learned anything about St. Vincent over the past decade, prepare to be both sonically and visually floored.

The Fear the Future Tour kicks off tonight, January 9th, at Pittsburgh’s Stage AE and will tear through Cincinnati’s Taft Theater on Thursday, January 11th, the Chicago Theater on Friday, January 12th and The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver on Monday, January 12th.

Umphrey’s McGee will be following a similar route to St. Vincent, picking up at Stage AE in Pittsburgh on Thursday, January 11th before heading to Cincinnati for two shows at the Taft Theater on Friday, January 12th & Saturday, January 13th. They then wrap up a busy week at Chicago’s Park West on Sunday, January 14th to celebrate their brand-new album, it’s not us, and play its record release party.
