Book a Party

March is here, the winter is coming to a close, and the shows don’t stop coming—it’s the perfect week to get out to a concert! The hottest acts in the country are on tour now, making stops in some of our favorite cities for nights of beats, lights, dancing and lots to get loud about. It’s time for Howl’s Top Shows of the Week!

Keep it Eazy

By now, you should know about G-Eazy. The rapper out of Oakland is not only in the process of taking over the game, but he’s doing it in a motorcycle jacket and his hair’s slicked back, too. He’s old-school reborn with unique lyricism and a one-of-a-kind flow that stands out perfectly on his newest album, The Beautiful & Damned. Stories of reflection and recovery are sandwiched between top-tier beats from a myriad of producers and features from the likes of Halsey, Cardi B, ASAP Rocky, and many more on the top of their games add even more layers to the piece. You can capture G-Eazy in the moment this Tuesday, March 6th at the 1st Bank Center in Denver and in Chicago at the Prysm Nightclub this Friday, March 9th.

Prince Vince

If you’ve been following hip-hop, you already know that there’s new royalty on the scene. Vince Staples has been claiming ears like he’s seizing land and his 2017 release, Big Fish Theory, has only grown his kingdom larger. Finding influence in the permanence of the house and techno scenes, Staple’s latest release is bold enough to step outside of rap’s mainstream and fuse the hip-hop scene with dance culture in a nearly seamless fashion. Aided by appearances from giants in both genres like Kendrick Lamar, Damon Albarn, ASAP Rocky and more, Vince Staples should start getting used to presiding for years to come. Catch him this week at St. Louis’ The Pageant on Wednesday, March 7th before he heads to Hollywood for nights at The Novo on Monday, March 12th and The Observatory on Tuesday, March 13th.

The Legendary Steve Aoki

While Vince Staples is just getting used to the fit of a crown, one performer knows what it’s like all-too-well. Steve Aoki is a giant of electronic music. Since getting his start in Miami over 20 years ago, Aoki has made the Billboard charts look like receipt paper as he constantly dishes out beats that will be played in nearly every club in the world. Since being named in 2012 as the “highest grossing dance artist in North America”, Steve Aoki has continued to release hits, including 2017’s Kolony with features from Migos and Lil Yachty, amongst others. There’s still time to catch the Kolony US Tour as he performs with Desiigner, Deorro, and Grandtheft at LA’s Shrine Expo Hall on Friday, March 9th followed by a stop at The Grand in Boston on Monday, March 12th. See what Steve Aoki’s been up to lately in his new video with Lauren Jauregui, “All Night.”
